Slow news today, however one of the largest games consoles is celebrating their tenth anniversary this week. That’s right it’s Xbox’s 10th birthday! To celebrate I’ll run down some Xbox facts!!

Minecraft has finally gone gold! The announcement was made at the Las Vegas MineCon event. Markus “Notch” Persson, studio head at developer Mojang, said on Twitter: “So, yes. Minecraft has gone gold.” Simple and straight to the point. Minecraft recently hit the 4 million mark in sales, an impressive milestone following its release in an alpha state in May 2009.
Here’s to hoping tomorrow there’s more news in the fantastic world of gaming.
