GENERAL NEWS:
We begin with the news that Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 has already broken TWO world records! The first of which is the all-time entertainment launch, COD sold a whopping 6.5 million copies in the UK and US alone during its first 24 hours on the market. The second is the most online players on one title, After just two days of availability, the number of gamers playing Modern Warfare 3 simultaneously on Xbox Live “set a new peak concurrency record”. Well done Call of Duty!
PLAYSTATION NEWS:
Insomniac are to release a ‘HUGE’ patch for Resistance 3, the patch will include two new maps and some tweaks and fixes to the multiplayer.

- Improved team balancing
- All equipment and abilities are now purchasable at level 60
- Leaper Corpse will now spawn fewer leapers

Not much on the XBOX front today, however Final Fantasy XIII-2 will only require one disk for XBOX; no more swapping disks for once.

NINTENDO WII NEWS:
Ninja Gaiden 3 has been announced as a Wii U launch title today, Tecmo Koei revealed in a new earnings report. The Wii U doesn’t have a release window yet, but will likely come in the second half of 2012. The Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 versions of Ninja Gaiden III are set to be released in the first quarter of the year.
