There were rumors abound about a possible venue change for the Enterntaiment Software Association’s Electronic Entertainment Expo (ESA’s E3) due to a possible demolition of the LA Convention Center the event has been held in for years. The ESA has confirmed that they’ve slated a deal to keep E3 in LA for at least the next 3 years.
Next year’s event will take place in the LACC and LA LIVE, as well as several other venues in the city of Los Angeles, California from June 11-13, 2013.

LA LIVE near the Staples Center is a relatively new venue with lots of potential to take over the majority of the E3 event.
The convention center got an extension on its demolition date, so E3 is still scheduled for that location. Currently, the plan is to clear the lot for the construction of a sports arena, Farmer’s Field.
