The all-out silliness of Frobisher Says! has gotten crazier this week, with a fresh batch of DLC.
Frobisher Says! is a difficult game to categorise. If WarioWare and gaming hipsters created offspring, this would surely be it. Through a series of mini-games players are commanded by Frobisher (Who is rather impatient) to perform certain tasks such as dry the sausage dog or deliver his pudding via a toy train. On paper it sounds absurd and well, it definitely is. There’s certainly much fun to be had here and It’s very entertaining so if you haven’t already picked it up, there’s no excuse as it’s absolutely free!
The Super Mega Fun Pack adds 15 new silly levels involving ludicrous demands as gurning at the camera, milking a mammoth and driving to his friend Stephen’s house. These levels provide a lot of entertainment and hilarity. A ‘pass the Vita’ style mode is present, with multiple players trying to outdo each other and get the highest scores.
This is where the game is most fun, when playing with your friends. Running around using the Vita’s many features (The camera, front/rear touch and tilt functionalities are all used) provides some laugh out loud experiences.
BE WARNED: I wouldn’t recommend playing this on your daily commute, you’d look the fool.
Similarly, the art style is fantastic all due to the brilliance of Richard Hogg and Venus Patrol. Their quirky and enigmatic art style gives the game a lovely sense of charm, which is certainly welcome.
Trophies also come with the Super Mega Fun Pack and all this brand spanking new content is available now for the low, low price of £1.19/€1.49!
It’s not just about the new DLC though as there’s a free patch out too! Frobisher has listened to fan feedback and has given users the opportunity to prove their worth with Trophy support. Don’t expect it to be an easy ride though, the trophies are incredibly vague and a lot of thought is given into achieving each trophy. I won’t give any of it away, but the fun is in trying to figure out what each trophy actually requires you to do, resulting in a satisfying experience when you figure it out! Oh Frobisher, you’re so devious!
Frobisher Says! and his latest DLC is a must for any Playstation Vita owner.
If you don’t download it, Frobisher will not be best pleased.
