  • Five Million Sold for Minecraft on Xbox Live Arcade

  • Fan Voting Still Ongoing for NCAA Football 14 Cover Team

    EA Sports is still working on rounds of fan voting to pick the cover team for the 2014 version of NCAA Football.  Fans of NCAA football schools can go to the EA Sports NCAA Football Facebook page to vote for their favorite school.  Voting  has been going on for a while, so there are only five days left to get out the vote in this round.   • UK Video Game Sales Down More Than 17% in 2012

    According to MCV, the UK games market lost a combined 17.4 percent, falling to £1.598 billion from £1.934 billion.  This even accounts for the steady growth of digital game sales, up 7.7 percent over 2012.  This means that boxed titles saw a 26 percent decline in sales.  This can be attributed to any number of things, from a weaker game market (which saw big titles release, but not until late... more.

    According to a post on reddit, the next Call of Duty: Black Ops 2 DLC, titled Revolution, may have a release date of January 29.  The release date and some features can be gleaned from a picture of a poster.  This has yet to be confirmed by Activision, but the picture appears to have been taken in a GameStop.
