Skyrim update 1.7 release for North American consoles

The Skyrim update 1.7 which came late last month for PC through Steam will be receiving the console treatment as it makes its way onto Xbox 360 worldwide and North American PS3 today. The update will be released sometime next week for PS3 users in Europe. I have been pessimistically oriented toward virtual reality gaming since the Nintendo Virtual Boy in the early 1990's. That may be about to change as I see what is developing with the Oculus Rift. Skyrim Update 1.7 available on Steam

The new update for the PC version of Skyrim has passed beta testing and is now available for download on Steam. The patch apparently fixes an issue with dragon landings causing game crashes, adds water shader improvements, and implements bug fixes. The console versions of the updates (which have not yet been released) will bring more Kinect support and bug fixes to the Xbox version and content... more. -
